they call me in sane............

They call me insane when i remember those days
make my eyes wet in the nostalgia of past.
See the dreams of a bright future and
the notion in the heart to give something to my land.

When I stare for hours , the endless flow of rain water
collect the fallen leaves in my hand.
Or may be running bare footed on the mist wet grass
searching for something in the blur of fog.
Wondering about the yellow glow of the fog lights of the jeeps
heading nowhere in the curls of the hills
asking myself where they are destined to go.
Sweating to the limit in the wrath of the summer,
praying for that drop from from heaven
Get intoxicated in that sour smell of earth
enjoying that tickle of those senses by touching that flow of water
falling from the waves my tin roof.
Waving new hopes in my mind looking at that blooming gulmohar tree
wishing if the whole earth is like that.
Watching the birds returning home in the dusk
longing for the thing i have lost.


I still waste hours, searching for that lost
rewind button in my memory lane.
Only these few innocent desires,
but still they call me insane.
